Oh Gosh it’s Josh, creator of BlackBarbieGuide and welcome to my Barbie oasis. Black Barbie Guide is a complete (ongoing) online database of Black Barbies, Past, Present, and Future; Created to help collectors like myself discover all things black barbie.

I started collecting Barbies at the end of 2018 however barbie has been in my life since i was a child. Within a few short years I have somehow amassed over 600+ Black Barbies. I guess you can say I love Barbie! Guinness World Records! Where are you?

For many Barbie lovers, Barbie is more than a doll. She’s an inspiration in so many ways. In the beginning while focused on collecting every Barbie label “Christie” on the box, I also thought it was (and is) very important to showcase black and brown beauty which are often overlooked in mainstream media and society. Its all about representation, self love and being yourself.

  • BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL and repeat!!!

  • Representation Matters
